Josephine Palombo

It is with heavy heart that The Palombo Family announces the passing of our beloved Mother Josephine Diane Palombo of West Harrison, New York who passed away on Mar 26, 2023 at the age of 89.
Josephine was born August 25, 1933 to Joseph & Alfonsina Girodano in White Plains, NY. She was a graduate of White Plains High School Class of 1951 and a lifelong resident of West Harrison, NY where she was a parishioner of St. Anthony's of Padua Church and former member of the Ava-Maria Guild.
She is survived by her three children Thomas of Waxhaw, NC, (Kelly his wife) Daughter Karyn of White Plains, NY and Joseph of West Harrison, NY. Her Grandchildren, Olivia Grace Touchette of Texas, Dante Joseph Palombo of West Harrison, NY Meredith Ross Palombo of Waxhaw, NC and Darla Josephine Palombo of West Harrison, NY, her sister Antoinett Giordano of West Harrison, NY and her beloved animals, Dogs Ace and Jem and cat Dice. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Alfonsina Giordano, brothers Ralph and Pasqual.
Josephine's life will be celebrated with a service on Saturday April 1, 2023 9:30am St. Anthony's Of Padua Church, 85 Harrison St, West Harrison, NY 10604 followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 575 Hillside Ave, White Plains, NY 10603.
Josie was an angel sent on a special mission, we used to say many of God's broken little lambs found their way to her doorstep and her door was always open to lend an ear and her perspective on life. In lieu of flowers we know that our mother would want to help children in crisis.
