Joesphine was a lifelong resident of Norwalk and attended Norwalk Public schools and graduated from Brien McMahon High School
She was employed by the Norwalk Board of Education and retired after 37 years.
Josephine is survived by her stepson; Sefuddin Abdul-Wali; grandchildren; Shane Tomlin, Billi Jo Tomlin (Shaveya) andHydea Tomlin; lifelong companion William Dancy and great grandchildren; Julianna Tomlin, Makhi Foster, Nasir Foster andZavion Foster; one sister Terry Tomlin and two brothers, Willie Tomlin of Norwalk and Bruce Tomlin (Karen) of Stamford. Many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Jomeshia Tomlin; three sisters, Ruthie Scott, Theresa Tomlin and Hope Perry and two brothers Marvin Tomlin, Jr. and Gerald Tomlin.
