Josh Christopher Gerrell

Josh Christopher Gerrell, age 50, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Mr. Gerrell was born on August 14, 1973, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Odis and Jerilyn Humphries Gerrell. He worked in cell phone tower and construction industry. In addition to his parents, Josh was preceded in death by his brother, Judd Brandon Gerrell; infant sister, Jada Black.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica Gerrell; children, Thomas and Ashley Gerrell, Margaret Gerrell, Dorothy Gerrell, Cody and Laura Cantrell, Emily Cantrell, and Caleb Cantrell; grandchildren, Cashton, Maurice, Gracelyn, Zander, and Josh Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Evette Black.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. The family requests that those in attendance wear red and black. Go Dawgs!
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
