Joshua David "Josh" Block

Joshua David Block, age 30, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Josh was a graduate of The University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from John Marshall Law School in 2018, where he found his passion and love of the law. Josh was very artistic, creative and talented. He loved all forms of art. He created witty comics, award winning photography and beautiful drawings without any formal training. He also loved the Bears, the Brewers, bowling and sci fi. He was the devoted son of Robin (nee Resnick) and the late Spencer Block; loving brother of Alexis (Samuel Bitter) Block-Bitter; adored grandson of Nina and the late Michael Resnick and the late Marion and the late Arnold Block; cherished nephew of Pam and Mike Bukowski, Elise and Steve Foster, Gloria Block Secler and Harold Secler, and Nancy Block; dear great nephew of Shellie Yaseen and Tedd Rosenfeld; special cousin and friend to many. Finally, Josh was an incredibly kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic individual who people were drawn to. He deeply loved animals, his friends, his family and life. Graveside service Thursday, 3:00 p.m. CT at Westlawn Cemetery, Section Memorial, 7801 W.
