William (Bill) L Block, Born June 2 1933 to Stanly and Florence block in Almena Wisconsin. Bill Passed away peacefully in his sleep on morning of Sept 21 2025. He was married to Susan (Dudley) who preceded him in Death. He is survived by his Brother Joseph Block and Sister Anita Griger and their families. His siblings Marilyn (Gitlewski, Smith), James and David have preceded him in death. He is survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends. He had no children of his own but was a father figure to many of us.

Bill grew up on Milwaukee South side and served in the US army at Fort Sill and was Honorably discharged in 1955.

He was employed by Allen Bradley from 1956 to 1992 and after 36 years of service he retired from there. He resided at Wilson Commons for over 20 years and in fact was their first resident, residing there until Feb 2025.

He also loved sports. He was an avid golfer, followed the PGA tour and the LPGA tour. He traveled to many tournaments with Sue and he introduced the game to many of his nieces and nephews.

In his youth he enjoyed playing baseball and was on the team at Fort Sill. He was a loyal Braves and Brewer fan. He loved watching sports on TV and did not miss many brewer games.

He was also an avid bowler. He traveled to many ABC tournaments throughout the United States and has enjoyed one perfect 300 game.

He was a loyal Brother to his siblings. He enjoyed Vacations fishing the lakes of Wisconsin, Golfing with his family members and of course eating at restaurants. He liked good food and enjoyed sharing meals with others. He attended many family gatherings kept up with the ever-expanding family trees of his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was a good man and did not have a dishonest bone in his body. He was loyal to all and a man of his word. He had a great heart, loved people and gave his time to many. He will be missed.

We would like to thank the teams at Story Pont in Mequon, the Corso care team at Story point and Allay Hospice for the care of him in his final months. We know he appreciated all of you.
