Joshua Follo

Joshua Michael Follo, 27, of Enfield, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born in Hartford, CT, on March 24, 1998, to Brian and Claire (Ball) Follo.

Joshua grew up in Enfield along with numerous cousins in the local area. He enjoyed many large family gatherings on a regular basis including birthdays, holidays, graduation parties and more. This occurred so frequently that his neighborhood friends jokingly referred to them as (FFF's) Follo Family Functions. He also grew up very close to relatives in Middletown who he deeply cherished. He attended numerous musicals with his family including his grandparents. He also greatly enjoyed concerts.

He attended Fermi High School, where he played the string bass in the orchestra and participated on the football and wrestling teams. After graduating in 2016 he attended Southern CT State University where he made lasting valued friendships.

Josh began his career in construction and for the past few years worked at Genovesi Construction in Tolland, where he was a proud member of Laborers Local#230. Josh was proud to have recently acquired his P6 Journeyperson license. He enjoyed golfing and card games with friendships made through work.

Joshua had a love for sports, especially cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. He also looked forward each summer to family vacations in the Outer Banks, NC.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Brian, and Claire Follo of Portland, CT; his beloved sister, Jessica Follo; his grandparents, Michael and Lucille Follo of Enfield, and Nancy Ball of Meriden; his aunts and uncles, Cathy Donaghy and Ray, John and Nicole Ball, Sheri and Marc Riendeau, Denise and Richard Riendeau, Karen and Robert Bagley; his first cousins, Kevin Riendeau, Jason Riendeau, Danielle Riendeau, Kyle Riendeau, Kory Riendeau, Jared Bagley, Derek Bagley, Michael Bagley, and Hayden and Kellen Ball. He also had numerous second cousins' and relatives; and his beloved chocolate lab, Murphy. Josh is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Ball.

Family and friends may gather for Visitation on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church. Please meet Directly at Church. Burial will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
