Maryann Follo

Follo, Maryann (Imbimbo) of Billerica formerly of Revere passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 2, 2024, at the age of 81. Born in Revere on September 9, 1943, to the late Samuel and Concetta Imbimbo.
Maryann had a bachelor's degree from Salem State and later went on to teach. After her teaching career she worked at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett where she worked in the office for seven years. Her work was more than just a job to her, it was an extension of her caring nature and a way for her to give back to her community.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Maryann had an unwavering love for all New England professional teams. Her love for sports was not just confined to being a spectator, she also made a significant impact in her community by coaching little league. She loved working with the children, nurturing their talents, boosting their confidence, and passing on her love of the game. She was a true team player, both on and off the field, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of the many lives she touched.
She was the beloved wife of 57 years to John Follo. A devoted mother of Mark Follo and his fiancé Jennifer of Billerica. Dear sister of Joanne Foley and her husband Richard of Abington, and the late Dorothy Catazarollo and her surviving husband Thomas. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held at the Woodlawn Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery 302 Elm St, in Everett on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 11:00am to 11:30am followed by a Prayer Service in the chapel at 11:30am.
