Joshua Robert Handley, 45, passed away earlier this month in his home in Evans, Colorado. He was born on October 5, 1977, in Panguitch, Utah, to Brian and Annette Handley.
Josh moved with his family to Cottage Grove, Oregon at the age of 11. He graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1996 and moved to Colorado that same year, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Josh was a hard-working and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a great love for animals, including his fish and his two boxer dogs, Jewels and Gypsy. He loved fishing, watching sports, cooking, and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Josh is survived by his parents, Brian and Annette, his two brothers, Cole and Michael Handley, their wives, his sister Sara May and her husband, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and eight nieces and nephews. His laughter and joy for all of life's adventures will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Josh's Life Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 12'noon on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue of Colorado in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
