Joshua Michael Morgan, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the J.F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. He was born on November 14, 1976, in Haywood County, North Carolina.
Joshua was the life of the party. Always making everyone laugh. He was a proud graduate of Pisgah High School, Class of 1996. In his free time, he found joy in camping with his family and cheering on his children as they played sports. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed bear hunting with his dad. Joshua was a devoted employee of Wilsonart, where he had worked for the past 26 years. He was also starting a lawn and tree service with his boys and cherished every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Angie Burnette Morgan; one daughter, Lila; three sons, Chase, Colton, and Eli; father, Terry Morgan (Gail); mother, Sandra Morgan; sister, Melody Morgan Fox; aunt, Peggy Lokerson; niece, Madlyn (Anthony); nephew, Bailey; as well as numerous cousins and cherished friends.
Joshua was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Myrtle Morgan; maternal grandparents, Ray and Dot Wood, and Ruth and Marshall Caldwell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Willie Warren and Reverend Stacey Harris officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Sunburst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a College Fund has been established at Champion Credit Union for Joshua’s children. You may contribute at any Champion Credit Union location. College Fund for the benefit of Joshua Michael Morgan’s children, in care of Angela B. Morgan.
Joshua’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his love for family, dedication to work, and the positive impact he made on everyone around him.
