Joshua Wilson, age 36, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Mercy Hospital of Willard. He was born on April 30, 1987 in Willard to Kimberly Williams and Darrell Wilson.
Josh graduated from Willard High School in 2005. He was a father, best friend, comedian, story teller and hero. Josh always had a joke to crack, story to tell, a way to make you laugh, and a way to bother you. His bright blue eyes always had a sparkle and, his smile was almost always contagious.
Marrying the love of his life at the age of 21, Josh loved Cassondra to endless amounts and her happiness was always a priority. They brought into the world 6 beautiful children who he made sure had his full attention when needed. There will never be a time when they do not hear Michael Jackson on the radio or see Ninja Turtles and do not think of him.
A true family man, he is survived by his loving wife, Cassondra (Walters) Wilson; six children, Caitlyn, Joshua Jr., Jaden, Jaxson, Cora and Jenson; mother, Kimberly Williams (Brad Baker); father, Darrell (Deb) Wilson; three siblings, Amy (Nate) Ault, Brittany Wilson and Brandon (Kayla) Wilson; maternal grandmother, Roberta Shepherd; his mother-in-law, who was truly a second mom, Linda Pugh (Jeff Barnett); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clyde and Linda Wilson; his step-father, Silas Williams; and maternal grandmother, Shirley Carver.
Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Josh's funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Pond officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to Josh's family. Online condolences can be left for the family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
