Joshua Wright

Joshua Taylor Wright, 20, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away on March 5, 2026 in an

e-bike accident. Joshua was born on August 24, 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia and

graduated from Fulton Academy of Virtual Excellence in 2024.

Joshua lived life with energy, curiosity, and a deep love for the people around him. He

loved cars and proudly rebuilt a Lexus LS 400. He had a fascination with Russian

culture, often seen wearing a ushanka, enjoyed attending conventions and collecting watches. Joshua was always ready for the next adventure and happiest when surrounded by friends and family.

Joshua's loyalty made him a devoted son, brother, and friend. Joshua embraced life fully. He was determined, tenacious and passionate about his endeavors.

Known for his sense of humor, Joshua had a gift for making people laugh. His bright smile could light up a room, and his warm hugs made people feel instantly loved. Joshua's playful spirit kept life interesting for everyone around him, and his family shares a couple "formal apologies" on his behalf: to Ms. Mary for the applesauce packet that exploded in the school bathroom and to friends at church who remember the ruckus in the back pew. Joshua always kept those around him laughing.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Chad and Julia Wright; his siblings, Larsen and Anderson; his grandparents, Keith and Janice Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Peggy Wright of Brigham City, Utah; and the world's best aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him and supported him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alan Wright and his uncle, Shannon Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 500 Norcross St., Roswell, Georgia and on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 203 North 200 West, Brigham City, Utah.

Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery in Brigham City, Utah following the funeral service.

Reflecting on Joshua's life, his family shared, "We were the luckiest ones to have known him and be loved by him."
