WINSLOW-- Josie Louise Reynolds was born a sleeping angel on October 3, 2024. She was born at 9:28 PM weighing a perfect 5 pounds 8 ounces, and 17 inches long.
Josie was the daughter of Neal Reynolds and Jade Stevens of Winslow.
She is survived by her big sister, Camryn, who was so excited to meet and love her and teach her all about sports.
Josie is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Todd and Michele Reynolds of New Gloucester. Her maternal grandparents, Jennifer Stevens and Rae Ann Lajoie of Vassalboro and Wilbur Stevens Sr. and Steffanie Stevens of Winslow. Along side her grandparents, Josie had a whole village of people that couldn't wait to meet, spoil, and love her unconditionally. Her memory will live on in the hearts of so many. She will be loved for the rest of our days here on earth.
A period of visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th from 1pm to 3pm at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330 where a memorial service will be held at 3pm. In lieu of flowers we are asking that people spread an act of kindness and share it on their social media with the hashtag #josielouisereynolds or if feasible, make a donation to Empty Arms of Greater Bangor. They are a nonprofit that did casting of Josie's hands and feet the day after she was delivered. They offer a wide range of support for those dealing with infant loss.
A little message to Josie Louise from her Mommy and Daddy:
Josie Louise you're now our guardian angel in heaven. I know you will look down on our family and send peace and love to us all. Your big sister, Camryn was so excited to guide and support you through all your stages of life. You were a blessing sent to us, but taken away too soon. You are in so many hearts and loved so incredibly much. We have no doubt that our loved ones that have passed are arguing about who gets to hold you up above. Mommy and Daddy love you more than we could ever express and miss you every second of every day, our little miracle baby.
