Jovana Vujovich, age 93, of Lake Villa, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully the evening of Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Born January 6, 1932, in Lipnik, Hercegovina, to the late Sava and the late Maksim Milinkovic, she was the beloved wife of over 40 years to the late Janko Vujovich. Adored mother of Mila (Sretko) Pandzic and Predrag (Mary) Vujovich; cherished grandmother of Dusan (Andrea) Pandzic and Aleksandra Pandzic (Petro Pyvovar); doting great grandmother of Declan and Sofia Pandzic; dear aunt of Lily Bauer and family, Miroslav Milinkovic and family, Mila Rankovic and family, and Milan Milinkovic and family; and loving sister of the late George "Grujo" Milinkovic, the late Damjan Milinkovic, the late Milosava Milinkovic, and the late Veljko Milinkovic. A devoted follower of the Serbian Orthodox faith, she attended services at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, and St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and Kumovi across the United States and Serbia. Memory Eternal.
