Joy Lee Bowman

Joy Bowman, 72, of Crawfordville (Wakulla Station), Florida after a year battle with cancer has left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2022. She was born in Canton, Ohio on January 22, 1950.
In 1982 her boyfriend (Brad Bowman) now her Husband of almost 40 years moved from Canton, Ohio to Havana, Florida. In 1986 they moved to the Crawfordville (Wakulla Station)area of Florida. Shortly after that she became President of the Humane Society of Wakulla County. Her and her Husband (Brad Bowman) were active members of The Wakulla Station VFD and the St. Marks VFD for over 30 years.
Joy is survived by her husband and mother, Mary Lou Page; her siblings Ann Kellogg, Dean Page and Dale Page; her children, Warren (Pam), Shannon (Rick), and Tiffany (Adam) as well as her three grandchildren Brittanie, Tyler, and Ethan. Joy was preceded in death by her daughter Amy and her father Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Big Bend Hospice (1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308) are encouraged per Joy's request.
