Joy M. Davis

HALIFAX - Joy M. Davis, age 45, of Halifax, Pennsylvania died June 6, 2025, at home.
She was born on September 23, 1979 in Marlton, NJ the daughter of Donald F. Davis and Jan F. (Hickman) Davis.
Joy was a home school graduate, and great basketball player, continuing into college at BBC. She worked as Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service, but becoming a mother to three beautiful children was always her true calling.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on vehicles, going to concerts, spending time with family-most especially her kids who were her greatest joy. She will best be remembered by her infectious laugh, generosity and constant desire to meet the needs of others.
She had a passion to support others on the road to recovery and maintained housing to provide safe places to help them reach it. She named it Jazz's House in honor of a friend.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son Benjamin Floyd Arthur Anderson of Halifax, currently serving in the Navy, a son Parker James Miller Davis of Halifax, and a daughter Jordyn Jamin Miller Davis of Halifax, brothers Donald, Jr. of Denver, CO, Daniel of Lewisberry, PA, David of New Cumberland, PA, Douglas of Carlisle, PA, and Darren of Carlisle, PA, a sister Jill Davis-Linit of Rincon, Puerto Rico. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, June 13 11:30 am at Halifax Community Church.
