Joy Marie Few, 59, passed away July 22nd, 2025 in Norfolk, Virginia.
Joy was born June 27th, 1966, in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Edward and Audrey Few. Joy always found happiness working with children. After graduating from Bayside High School, she went into the medical field with a focus on pediatrics and eventually drove school bus for Virginia Beach Public Schools. She will always be remembered was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is: son, Bon Elliot Few; daughter, Taylor Joy Few and fiancé, Wesley Nash; grandson, Sebastian Cole Few, sister, Beverly Millikan; brother, Kenneth Few and sister Honey Few; many adoring nieces such as Holly Few and her three children: Jaylynn, Jaliyah, and Jordan; nephews, family members and friends and her very best friend for over 25 years, Debbie Heuneman.
She was proud of her kids' accomplishments as they both have just become managers at their jobs, she loved going to the beach with her grandson or anything to do with him, coloring and puzzles. She loved anything giraffe, her favorite color was purple. Anybody that knew her, loved her. She was Joy in a dark world. She brought nothing but love, happiness and kindness to anybody and everybody. Her kids loved her dearly and she will be utterly missed. " Free as a bird now "
A celebration of Joy's life will be held from 3:00pm-6:00pm, Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at Poppa Pub 2105 Diamond Springs Road. Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
