Marvin's wonderful wife and our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother Joy Darlene (Quinn) Williams, of Sparta, Missouri, passed away peacefully Monday, December 1, 2025 in her home. Joy was 89 years old.
She was born in Mossyrock, Washington on November 25, 1936 to George and Rosa Quinn. She was the last surviving child in her family of six siblings. Joy helped her father on his dairy farm and was taught by her mother who was a school teacher in the local school. She was a bright student and was honored as Valedictorian of her senior class at Mossyrock High School. Joy and Marvin celebrated 70 years of marriage this past February.

Joy was a strong woman of faith and was in church her entire life. She played the organ and piano in church for many years. She had a beautiful voice and sang many duets with Marvin in church, weddings, and at funerals. Joy and Marvin were pastors in their mid-years and spent a lot of time serving and helping those in their church. They also loved spending time with their many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their family were true blessings to Joy and Marvin.
