Joyce I. Andraschko

Joyce I. Andraschko, age 81 of Antigo, died on July 3, 2025 at Rosalia Gardens with her husband by her side. She was born on December 7, 1943 in Lincoln, Nebraska, a daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Zipp) Carr. She married James Andraschko on April 4, 1964 in Lincoln.

She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Joyce provided day care in her home and was known as "Grandma" to the kids in her care.

She was a member of SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and taught CCD classes.

Joyce enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, reading, and watching Hallmark movies. She also enjoyed watching the wildlife in her back yard, especially the birds and squirrels. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, James; a daughter, Dodi (Jay) Sailer of Antigo; three sons, David (Patti) of Antigo, Mark (Sandy) of Antigo, and Bruce (Linda) of Kronenwetter; six grandchildren, Samantha (Christien) Carmickle of Brooklyn Park, MN, Josh (Sarah) Andraschko of Birnamwood, Robert (Brittney) Andraschko of Alto, TX, Tyler (Olivia Wolf) Andraschko of Antigo, Sean (Kyra) Andraschko and Allan Andraschko both of Kronenwetter; seven great-grandchildren, Finnick and Cillian Carmickle, Henry Andraschko, Reggie and Sissy Andraschko; Adeline Summ, and Allison Andraschko; a sister, Elaine Bokowski of Lincoln; a brother, Douglas (Judy) Carr of Burnsville, MN; three sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Cahak, Elaine Schwan and Susie (John) Guensburg; and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Andraschko and John (Libby) Andraschko. Joyce is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, a niece, Sandy Tews; father-in-law, Edwin Andraschko; mother-in-law, Annette Andraschko; sisters-in-law, Pat Tews, Judy Andraschko, and Bernice Andraschko; brothers-in-law, Gerald Tews, Del Bokowski, Bernard Andraschko, Jerome Cahak, and James Schwan.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 11:30 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Reverend Hillary Andebo officiating.

A wake service will be held Friday, July 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Deacon Pete Schlegel officiating.

Entombment will take place in the Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., all at the Bradley Funeral Home.
