Joyce Brumitt Obituary
Joyce was born on July 20, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the late Ray and Mildred (Houser) Risley. She worked as a bookkeeper at the YWCA before retiring.
She is survived by two sons, Tim (Paula) Brumitt and Jeff Brumitt, both of Evansville, one sister, Jackie (Deon) Sharp of Mt. Vernon, IN and two grandchildren, Travis (Allison) Brumitt and Blake Brumitt and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Brummit and her sister, Janet (Gary) Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Private burial will be held at a later date.
