Joyce Chaney Obituary
Joyce Ann Chaney, 81, of Wooster, died April 16, 2025 at her residence in Wooster, Ohio.
Joyce was born December 21, 1943 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Bernard and Elizabeth {Huegle} Dull.
Joyce graduated from Loudonville High School.
She married Don Chaney on May 30, 1963. He died on October 15, 2015.
Joyce worked for the Northwestern School District and Charles Mill Lake Park. She was a member of the NorthWinds Church in West Salem, Ohio and enjoyed painting, knitting and cooking.
Joyce will be deeply missed by her children Jeanie (Larry) Bagby of Wooster, Ohio, Donald (Kim) Chaney of Carrolton, Ohio, April (Ryan) Stinemetz of Wooster, Ohio; sisters Janet (Charles) Barnes of Nashville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Don; son Robert Chaney; brother Butch Dull and sister Gloria (Earl) Conaway.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel. (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Joyce-Chaney) with Pastor Dave Purdy and Pastor Kirk Fairhurst officiating. It was Joyce’s wish to have no calling hours. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice at 9775 Rockside Rd., Suite 270 Valley View, OH 44125.
