Norma Snyder Obituary
Norma L. (Stitzlein) Snyder, 98, formerly of Loudonville, Ohio died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, surrounded by family at Willow Brook Village in Delaware, Ohio.
The youngest of nine children, Norma was born Feb. 16, 1927 in Loudonville, Ohio.
In 2019, Norma moved to Willow Brook Village in Delaware to live closer to her children. Daughters Kathi (Mike) Paullin and Crystal (Joel) Blight live in Delaware; daughter Connie McGowan, in Columbus; son Jon (Lynn) Snyder, in Westerville; and son Mike (Claudia) Snyder in Lexington, Ohio.
Along with her five children and their spouses, Norma is the grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 27. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, granddaughter Sara Paullin Casto, daughter-in-law Vonnie Snyder, granddaughter-in-law Rebecca Newcomer, and her siblings and parents.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, Feb. 6 at Snyder Lindsey Chapel while the funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 7 at Zion Lutheran Church in Loudonville.
Donations may be made to the Willow Brook Village (Centrum Activities Fund), 100 Willow Brook Way S., Delaware, OH 43015. The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Brook Village and Tranquility Hospice for their heartfelt care of our mother, and for the support of family and friends.

Our sincere sympathy to Norma's family.
We are sorry that we won't be able to attend
the services. We always found Norma to be
a very friendly person. We visited with her at the
Snyder reunions and during the Loudonville Fair,
when we would see her in the building with all the
quilts. She will be remembered by our family.

Kathy, Your mother was one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She always had time to chat and share news etc. Lovely person. I'm so happy she survived for 98 years.
