Joyce Ann Conway

Joyce Ann (Pryor) Conway, the daughter of Clifton and Blanche (Parker) Pryor, was born on March 3, 1955, in Salem, Missouri. She was of a large family, raised in Salem, and graduated with the class of 1973 from Salem High School.
Joyce was united in marriage to Larry "Mike" Conway and to this union blessed with three children. She was the proud mother of Stephanie, Lamanda, and Chad. Her grandchildren Riley, Anita, Sage, Hailey, Logan, and Carson were her world. She loved spending time making memories with them and watching them grow.
Although Joyce did work outside the home, raising her family was her primary role. She loved doing word search puzzles and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. Joyce found joy in the simple things of life. She was a lady of faith and occasionally attended New Home Baptist Church.
Joyce entered eternal rest on July 20, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri, at the age of seventy-years. She is survived by her daughters: Stephanie Woods and husband Shawn of Poseyville, IN and Lamanda Parsons and husband Michael of Salem, MO; son: Chad Conway of Boss, MO; sister: Janice Stricklin and husband Laverne of Salem, MO; brothers: Steve Pryor and wife Beverly of Salem, MO and Curtis Pryor of Salem, MO; grandchildren: Riley, Anita, Sage, Hailey, Logan, and Carson; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Clifton and Blanche Pryor; brother: Danny Pryor; and her sisters: Rhonda Hagen, Freeda McCarter, and Glenda Golden.
Joyce was kind, yet strongly opiniated, but always very loving. She will be forever missed by those who loved her most.
Funeral Services for Joyce Ann (Pryor) Conway were held Thursday, July 24, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating. Song selections played were "Heaven Was Needing A Hero", "Beat You There", "The Dance", and "Remember When". Serving as Pallbearers were Chad Conway, Darrin Pryor, Steve Pryor, Shawn Woods, Logan Woods, and Carson Woods. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
