Peggy "Joyce" Duck, 80, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Joyce was born on February 27, 1945, to the late Herman Simpson and the late Margaret Fowler Simpson. She is also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Duck; sister, Janette Mundy; brothers, Wayne and Ronnie Simpson.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Billy Duck; son, Billy Gene Duck Jr.; daughters, Janet Duck and Teresa Duck Quarles; grandchildren, Blake Duck, Tonnie Duck Lingerfelt (Wesley), Ashlea Quarles Mohr (Matt); great-grandchildren, Gracie Johnson (Mason), Kayla Duck, Lylia Lingerfelt, Lileigh Taylor; sisters, Linda McFarland and Brenda Melton (Bill); numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce loved her Lord Jesus and reading her bible. In her younger years she loved to hike and take long walks. She dearly loved her family. Joyce was a member of Liberty Square Church.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Brother Danny May and Reverend Tim Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be friends and family of Mrs. Joyce Duck.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Peggy "Joyce" Duck.

I remember her she was my business driver and she was a great person and I loved riding the bus when she was driving . Such a blessing to everyone . I am sorry to hear that she has passed away.
