Joyce Elgan Obituary
Joyce was a 1966 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. She always worked in customer service. Throughout the years Joyce worked in banking in Ohio, Mercury Cleaners in Linton, and was in food service at Linton Nursing Home.
She enjoyed country music, riding her golf cart, taking drives in her car, and most especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, Eric (Susan) Elgan of Ninety Six, South Carolina and Erin (Melissa) Elgan of Pittsboro, Indiana; four grandchildren, Emma, Connor, Evan, and Eve Elgan; her sister, Carolyn (Bob) Ballard of Linton; and her former spouse, Steven Elgan of Muncy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Brown and Virginia Sue Puckett; and two brothers, John and Joe Brown.
Memorial visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Monday, January 15, 2024.
