Joyce Ann Haley, a beloved resident of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 30, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 18, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, Joyce was known for her warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family.
A proud graduate of Frayser High School, Joyce led a fulfilling life as a loving homemaker. She poured her creativity into every aspect of her home and community, enjoying crafts and taking immense joy in decorating her church for special events and weddings. Her artistic touches made those celebrations even more memorable, reflecting her generous spirit.
Joyce was also deeply loved by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, James "Jim" Robert Haley; her daughter, Lindsay Holland, and her husband, Randy; and her two nieces, Lauren Medina, and her husband, Carlos and Katherine Carmody and husband Jonathan. Joyce held a special place in her heart for her two nephews, Alexander and Ethan Medina, who affectionately referred to her as "Aunt Joyous." Her love extended to her cherished cats, who brought her much happiness and companionship throughout her life. Joyce's presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for friends and family will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. November 3, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Flatwoods Methodist Cemetery in Benton County, TN near Camden.
Pallbearers for the service will be Randy Holland, Carlos Medina, Jonathan Carmody, Josh Wadley, Josh Pickard and Travis Blankenship.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.
Joyce Ann Haley's legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends.
