Haubenstricker, Joyce Adele of Mt. Morris, age 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, following the loss of her husband, Wilmar, just a few months ago. Joyce and Wilmar shared a lifetime of love, and their reunion in heaven brings comfort to those who knew how much she missed him.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St., Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Visitation will be 4–8 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home, and 12 noon Thursday at the church until the time of the service at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.

Joyce was born on December 16, 1939, the daughter of Lloyd and Mae (McCormick) Quellette. She married Wilmar Haubenstricker on April 18, 1959, in Saginaw, and celebrated 66 years of marriage. Joyce dedicated her life to caring for others. She completed her certification at Ross Medical School to become a Certified Nurse's Aide, a role she treasured. Her kind heart and gentle hands touched the lives of countless patients and families.

Outside of work, Joyce enjoyed spending time in her yard, where she found peace and beauty in gardening. She loved traveling and especially cherished time spent with her family, who will remember her warmth, devotion, and love.

Joyce was the proud mother of five children, Tami (Ray) Armbruster, Timothy, Terry, Todd (Mildred) Haubenstricker, and her late son, Jon, who passed away in 1995, at the age of 29. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Joyce's legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and family devotion. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.

A special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and Addington of Clarkston for their special care of our mother.
