Joyce Hostinsky Obituary
Joyce Marie Hostinsky was born on October 2, 1952, in Belleville, to Franklin and Norma (Fisher) Hostinsky. She passed away on November 21, 2024, in Belleville, at the age of 72 years, 1 month, and 19 days.
Joyce grew up in Cuba and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She then graduated from Cloud County Community College and then Kansas State University with a bachelors degree in education.
Joyce taught school for a period of time before she returned home to Cuba to farm and raise cattle with her parents and brother Dale.
She is preceded in death by her parents Franklin and Norma, brother Dale, grandparents Franklin and Stella Hostinsky and Ernest and Bessie Fisher. She is survived by cousins, extended family, and many friends.
Graveside services were on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the National Bohemian Cemetery #13, rural Cuba. The casket will remain closed.
Memorials are requested to the Republic County FFA or the Cuba Booster Club, and may be sent to Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, PO Box 566, Belleville, Kansas, 66935.
