Joyce J. List

Joyce List, 91, passed away on October 22, 2025. She was born June 13, 1934, to her late parents Harold and Meta (Krueger) Hohn.

She was born and raised in Wisconsin, graduating from Gresham High School. She met her late husband Charlie at the Caroline Ballroom. They dated for about 2 years before they got married in 1957. Together they raised 3 children.

Joyce loved her garden. She also enjoyed traveling with Charles and loved to go on bus tours wherever they went. She was a faithful Lutheran woman. She would go to bible study, attend church groups and be with the church ladies. She also enjoyed hosting and entertaining, especially lunches with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Greg) Hintz, Dennis (Connie) List, David List; grandchildren: Nathan (Kayla Brunette) Hintz, Lauren (Dan) Dillenberg, Avery (Allison Rumbuc) Hintz, Cody (Josalynn) Kronberg, Sean Kronberg; great grandchildren: Gram, Ford, Sutton, Mason, Naomi, Skylar, Mackenzey, Braylon, Brynna, Sam, Nicolas; siblings James Hohn, Floyd Hohn, Harlan Hohn.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles.

There will be a memorial service on October 29, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church - ELCA 912 N Oneida St Appleton WI 54911. A visitation will be held from 9am – 11am with a service at 11.
