Joyce was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on October 5, 1942, the daughter of the late Leo J. and Patricia J. (Reilly) Dechene. She graduated from Hamilton High School, Los Angeles, California and spent her working career as a special education teacher aide for the Los Angeles Unified School District, Los Angeles.
She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed oil painting.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, James H. Loveall, brother, Joseph Dechene and grandson, Joseph J. Hopfer.
Surviving is her daughter, Denise Boss and her husband, Leonard of Long Pond, son, Dennis Loveall and his wife, Janny of Stockton, CA, sister, Jean Dechene Vernon and brother, John Dechene, both of Los Angeles, CA, grandson, Joseph Boss of Long Pond, and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Catherine's Cemetery, 1247 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono, where online condolences can be made www.yanacfuneralhome.com
