Joyce Carroll Marton

Joyce Carroll Marton, 84, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born to Lloyd and Mary Lee Gary on February 14, 1940, in Callahan County, Texas. She married Wesley Marton on April 19, 1996, in Houston, Texas.
Joyce spent most of her career as a florist, owning her own shop in the late 60's in Superior, Arizona. She was an avid gardener and cook, as her brisket and cheesecake couldn't be beat. She enjoyed traveling and spent many summers on the road between Texas and Arizona. The last 30 years she spent on the old home place near Admiral, Tx, where her dad was raised and where she grew up.
She is survived by her children, Barbara & husband Allen Barnett of Cross Plains, Cherei Goble of Baird, Vinson & wife Charlotte Carroll of Fort Stockton; 8 grandchildren, Danny Barnett, Jeremy Barnett, Lindsey Barnett, Josh Goble, Amanda Goble, Trish Hilliard, Jennifer Vaughn and Jason Carroll; brother, Tommy Gary; sister, Joann Marton; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wes Marton, the father of her Children Frankie Carroll; parents, Lloyd and Mary Lee Gary; brothers, Bill Gary, Arlon Gary, D.A. Gary, and JL Gary; sisters, Raynell Duncan and Virginia Stocker; and great grandson Donavyn Vaughn.
