Joyce Sabo Nash, 80, of Middletown, NJ, passed away on April 30, 2025 at Riverview Medical Center in.Red Bank. She was born in Bath, Maine and lived in Middletown for many yeaars. Joyce worked as a preschool teacher for Luther Memeorial Evangelical Church in Tinton Falls from which she retired. She felt such joy in helping to shape young minds, and she LOVED hearing from all of them over the decades. Along with this is her love for her familiy, grandchildren and great grandson, she loved the outdoors, kayaking, gardening, collecting glass, rocks and shells
Surviving are her husband of almost 54 years, Jim Nash, daughter, Marci Nash and son, Kyle Nash, grandchildren Devon, Jessica, Jackie, Jason Nash, and great grandson Jackson Sadowski.
In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution in Joyce's name to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 7th from 11AM - 3PM at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home at 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home in Middletown, NJ.

To Jim, Marcy, Kyle and family,
With deepest sympathy to you all. It's so hard losing your spouse/mother.
I remember when Aunt Alice, Uncle Ben, and Joyce would come down to the farm from Maine. Joyce would get very upset if she found a baby bird had fallen from the nest. We had so many fond memories. Oh how I wanted to go back with them to see Maine.
