Born September 3, 1950 Charleston, South Carolina. Her parents were Loyce Wayne "Hoyt" Donaldson and Ann Louise Panter Donaldson. Joyce is survived by her husband John V Parrish, Jr of the home, a son Emerson "Jack" Hodges (Victoria Hucks) of Columbia, SC, a sister, Brenda D Nesbit of Manning SC and a Sister-in-law, Marcia Donaldson of Lexington, SC Along with several nieces, nephews, step children and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death my her parents and brothers Jerry Wayne Donaldson (Marcia) and Larry Parks Donaldson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel, 11528 Hwy 17 Byp., Murrells Inlet, South Carolina 29576. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
