Joyce Lee Ramsey, 83, of Battle Creek passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.
Joyce was born August 2, 1942 in Battle Creek to Edmund “Ted” and Emma Jeanne (Hammond) Armstrong. She was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. On August 19, 1962, she was united in marriage to Carlos Arnold Ramsey. Joyce was a homemaker and often volunteered at her children’s and grandchildren’s schools. She enjoyed baking, making clothes and was a master gardener.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Carlos; daughters, Karla and Kim; and grandchildren, Josh and Maeve. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Jeanne Armstrong; sister, Joan Goodale; and in-laws, D and Bessie Ramsey.
A private interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan, the Bedford Masonic Temple or the Bedford Chapter # 471 Order of the Eastern Star.
