Joyce Elizabeth Randolph, 72, peacefully passed away, surrounded by love and cherished memories, in Fort Pierce, FL.
Born in Tell City, Indiana, she was the devoted daughter of James and Eloise Steele. Her childhood was shaped by faith and family—her father served as a Nazarene pastor, and the family traveled frequently to different churches, building a strong foundation of community and service.
Joyce pursued her education at Trevecca Nazarene University. One summer visit home changed her life: she met Ronald Randolph at church, the man who would become her beloved husband. Together, they founded and ran Modern Plumbing Company in Boynton Beach, Florida, working side by side for over 40 years.
Her hobbies were simple joys that revealed her generosity and creativity. Joyce loved shopping and giving gifts—Christmas was her favorite time of year. She even wrote a book celebrating the spirit of the season. She was also skilled at sewing and designing beautiful floral arrangements, always adding a personal touch to her home and gifts.
For more than four decades, Joyce and Ronald built a life together in Boynton Beach. In recent years, she moved to Port St. Lucie, where Joyce continued to fill her home with love and handmade treasures.
Family was at the center of everything. She took immense pride in her children’s successes and was a devoted grandmother who delighted in her grandchildren’s lives. Her kindness, warmth, and creativity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Survived by her son, David (Christina) Randolph; daughter, Michelle (Tim) Mason; sister, Miriam Rohrer, all of Port St. Lucie and sister, Rebecca Roberts, of Davie, FL; grandchildren, Aidan and Liliana Randolph and Logan and Grace-Mae Mason and Faith-Marie Dardon Randolph. She was preceded by her husband Ronald; brother, James Steele and her parents, James and Eloise Steele. Joyce’s spirit remains alive in the memories of those she loved and in every kindness she inspired.
Services: A Gathering will be held on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, following with the Service starting at 11:00 AM.
