Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother has gone to her eternal rest.
Lifelong resident of Little Canada. Joyce was born and raised in Little Canada. Joyce graduated from St. Joes Academy in 1952. She married Michael Sarne on November 21st 1953. They spent their first year of marriage in Honolulu where Mike was stationed with the Navy. Mike and Joyce built their home in Little Canada where they had 4 children.
Joyce was a school cook for the Roseville school system and Mike was a union plumber. Joyce was a lifelong member of the St. Annes Society. Joyce enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Aitkin, MN and spending winters in Florida. Joyce's greatest hobby was knitting, and she made beautiful sweaters for all her grandchildren. Joyce belonged to the knitting group at St John's Church where she made prayer shawls. She also knitted many hats and mittens for donation to local schools.
Preceded in death by her parents Roy & Alice Nadeau Sr. and her brother Roy Nadeau Jr. also her in-laws Ralph and Ione Sarne. Also preceded in death by her much-loved husband of 62 years Michael.
Survived by Martin (Heidi), Peter (Connie), Julie (Joe) Tucci, David (Lisa), 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren (1 more expected in February) Many friends and extended family.
Mass and Christian burial at St. John the Evangelist Church on Wednesday November 19th
