She was born in Lorain, Oh on September 1, 1947, daughter of the late Darwin F. and Verna (Broeringmeyer) Fowler.
Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Skadra; sons, Geoffrey Skadra, Daniel (Tracy Workman) Skadra and grandchildren, Katelyn Skadra and Andrew Skadra.
Services and interment were private.

I will miss my friend. We had many good times - walking to the high school, going out to lunch, doing needlework together, and talking about what we fix for dinners. Of course, we always talked about our kids and grandkids.
My sympathy to her beloved family.
