Joyce Elaine Stark-Krisko

Joyce Elaine Stark-Krisko, 85, of Owego, NY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Joyce is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Gerald Osterhout; her three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Paula Powell, Robert and Marybeth Powell, David and Gail Powell; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. While Joyce was the proudest of her family, her home, both inside and outside, was a labor of love to which her personality shines through. She loved cats and was always ready to take on a stray or two and care for them. Joyce spent her entire life in the most altruistic way with an affinity to always put others first. She volunteered for many organizations and brought joy to so many. In honoring her wishes, private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce Stark-Krisko's memory to Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Ave., Owego, NY 13827 or Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY 14892.
