Joyce Stoner Obituary
Joyce was born on April 14, 1941, to the late Francis Theo and Ruby (Johnson) Edlin of Louisville, KY. She retired from JCC as a co-op placement secretary and was a faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Joyce was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers William "Bill" Edlin and Shelby "Pete" Edlin.
Left to cherish her memories, children Brenda Lockard (Barry) and Brent Stoner (Sharon); grandchildren Brittany Owens (Steve), Bryan Lockard (Madison) and Jared Stoner; great grandchildren Lucas Owens, Ruby Owens, Maddux Lockard, and Fallon Lockard.
Funeral services will be Monday January 27, 2025, at 1:00pm Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crusade for Children.

On behalf of the WHAS Crusade for Children, we are sorry for your loss. It is people like Joyce who have made it possible for the Crusade to help children with special needs for over 70 years. Thank you for honoring her memory by remembering the WHAS Crusade for Children. Her legacy will be seen for years to come through the lives of children who are helped. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
