Juan Carlos Alvarez of Five Points, Alabama passed away at his residence in Five Points, Alabama on February 6, 2025. Mr. Alvarez was born in Havana, Cuba on December 9, 1960.
Mr. Alvarez was a man of many talents. He learned from life as he lived it. He could build a house from the foundation up and he could build a car from just a frame. He loved his family and friends, cars, fishing and making everyone laugh. He never took life too seriously. Carlos was known by many and loved by all. He will truly be missed by everyone.
Survivors include his mother, Nilda Alvarez, brothers Armando Morin and Norberto Alvarez and his sister Valquiria Alvarez Santana. He is also survived by two daughters, Brittany McIntyre, and Tiffany Alvarez. His grandchildren include Diego DeLeon, Anahi DeLeon, Abigail Peru, Milo Williams, and Kyro Juan Alvarez.
He leaves behind has eight nieces, three nephews, six great nephews and three great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Alvarez and his son, Michael Shane McIntyre.
Visitation for Mr. Alvarez will be on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM EST at Valley-Point Funeral Home & Cremation in Lanett, Alabama with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to his daughter, Tiffany Alvarez, who is handling his estate.
