Juan and I became friends during the time he lived at Fitzsimons VA Community Living Center. He and I visited weekly as I provided conversation and companionship. We talked about newer cars and how it has become harder to work on them with sophisticated electronics. Jaun helped with with my Spanish and proper pronunciation. He also inquired about what Air Force service, for me, was like as I served in the 1960's, and he was a civilian by then.

Having met Vera, Amandla, and Linda Luhan, I know they, and others will miss him, as he always spoke fondly about his family.

Descanso en paz, Juan.
