Juan Fernandez Carrillo, age 58, of Juchipila, Zacatecas, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Las Vegas, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on July 16, 1967, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Jose Fernandez Garcia and Margarita Carrillo Ramos, Juan built a life defined by love, laughter, and dedication to family. He married Emeli Quintero on August 29, 1987, and together they created a home filled with warmth and joy for 38 years.
A devoted husband and proud father, Juan found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and granddaughter, always bringing lighthearted fun and warmth to every gathering. Known among family and friends as the King of the Grill, he loved cooking for others, fishing in his free time, and being outdoors, especially during visits back home to Mexico, where he cherished reconnecting with his roots. His presence filled every room, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew him.
Juan is survived by his wife, Emeli Fernandez; children Juan Jr. Fernandez, Karina Loringer and Giovanni Fernandez; son-in-law Damion Loringer; granddaughter Sophia Loringer; siblings Fernando Fernandez Carrillo, Socorro Fernandez Carrillo, Jose Fernandez Carrillo, Letica Fernandez Carrillo, and Margarita Fernandez Carrillo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Fernandez Garcia and Margarita Carrillo Ramos.
A visitation will be held on August 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, followed by funeral services from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Burial will follow.
