He was born in 1983 to Josefa Ruiz and the late Jose Martinez in Camden, NJ, where he was a lifelong resident.
Juan was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and could be found throughout the seasons, watching his favorite teams. He was kind, had a wonderful sense of humor and always put his family first.
Juan leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his mother Josefa Ruiz; his brothers Jose Martinez, Michael Martinez, Luis Juarez, and Aramis J. Martinez; as well as, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and his canine companion, Lucy, and feline companion, Simba.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 8:00am-9:00am at Funeraria Hernandez, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102, followed by inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
