Juan Rivera Obituary
Juan was known for his deep love of music and dancing, always bringing joy and energy wherever he went. He was the life of the party, lighting up every room with his infectious spirit and sense of humor. He was devoted and hardworking as the owner and operator of Rivera and Sons Landscaping. Juan had a passion for soccer and was a big fan of Club America. Above all things, Juan enjoyed time spent with family and he will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife; Elvia (Aguilar) Rivera; children, Juan Angel, Jr., Joel Daniel, Jadriel Armando and Jalizah Elianna; Goddaughter, Joselyn Aguilar; parents, Juan and Refugio "Cuka" Rivera; siblings, Maria (Mario) Obregon, Bertha (Polo) Marquez, Martin (Alondra) Rivera and Claudia (Pedro) Mata; mother-in-law, Margarita (Miguel Chavez) Medrano; sister-in-law, Mayra (Jose) Avila.
Family will receive guests on Sunday; August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 620 5th Street Aurora, IL 60505. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
