Mary Veach

Mary Lou Veach, 95, of Aurora, passed away in her home on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born January 14, 1930 in Aurora, the daughter of Erwin and Hilda (Greiter) Hill. Mary was a housewife and enjoyed many activities including knitting, sewing, ceramics, playing with the Kitchen Band, and the Homemakers Club. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by 2 daughters: Catherine (Dennis) Zoller and Pamela DeFault, 3 sons: William, Paul (CarolSue), and Dennis, a sister, Joan (the late "Bud") Herbig along with very many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 75 years Virgil, a daughter, Virginia (Charles) Vogel, a sister, Alice Marie (the late Charles) Rohrer, and 2 grandsons, Greg Vogel, and Michael Veach. Family will be receiving guests Friday, August 29, 2025 from 5 to 8 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 120 Lancaster Ave. in Aurora. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Aurora.
