On Wednesday September 10, 2025 Juan Coronado Rodriguez at the age of 84 went to be with the Lord with his family by his side. Juan was born September 25, 1940 to Eugenio and Martha Rodriguez in Runge Texas. He was an automotive enthusiast, but most importantly he was a child of God. He enlisted in the Army shortly after he attended Runge High School and was tasked with being a mechanic and served 4 years in Germany. After the Army Juan moved to Olton Texas, because he loved everything about it. He met Rita Fuentez and took her on their first date on November 22, 1963 and the date was cut short due to the assignation of JFK. Juan and Rita married on March 27, 1964. Juan was proud to build the green houses in Cibolo Texas, being a Christian who served in many churches as a pastor, elder and mentor. Juan loved to explore and was known to be a nomad moving around the United States when he needed a change.
Juan is survived in death by his wife Rita Fuentez Rodriguez. His daughters Virginia (Tim) Belyea, Mary Ann Rodriguez (Mario Sr Herrea), Sandra (Edward) Whitespeare, and his sons Juan Jr (Tanja Hoenscheidt) Rodriguez, and Patrico (Christina) Rodriguez. Juan was blessed to be a grandfather to 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. His sisters and brothers Maria Torres, Sylvia R. Olivarez, Martha Lange, Rudy Rodriguez, Norma Valdez, Rosa Huerta, and Augie Rodriguez. Along with his immediate family listed above, Juan had the honor of being an uncle to many nieces and nephews within their family.
Juan was welcomed into heaven by his parents, his sisters and brothers Lucia Torres, Andrea Pompa, Rey Rodrguiez, Lenora Rodrigurz, Dora Sanchez., Eugenio Jr Rodriguez. Juanita R Garza, and members of the Fuentez Family.
