Juan Sandoval passed away June 29, 2025, in Bernalillo, New Mexico, after a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carmen Sandoval, father Jose Marcelino Sandoval, mother Mary Sandoval, Brothers Tomas Sandoval, Marcelino Sandoval and sister Rosalia Sandoval, special aunt Luz Valdez and uncle Serafin Valdez and grandson Carlos Hurtado.
He is survived by his sister Laura Besey; brothers Toby (Martha) Sandoval and Joseph Sandoval; daughters Rosalinda Hurtado whom he was very close to and cared for him until the end, Layla (Miguel) Yanez; sons Ernest Yanez and Jordan Manzanares; grandchildren Amber Gee and Aleida Yanez; great grandson's Carlos (CJ) Hurtado Jr and Alexander Gasca, and many other friends and relatives.
Juan loved spending time outdoors whether it was fishing, gardening or tending to his animals. One of his favorite pastimes was being up in the mountains on the 4 wheeler or taking rides with JoJo to Colorado.
Although we will miss him dearly, he is no longer suffering and is now at peace.
A Rosary will be held at San Miguel Church in Canones, New Mexico, on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon. With burial to follow at the San Miguel Cemetery.
