Family services for Juanita Abat, 102, of Nolanville, formerly of Los Angeles, will be held on December 5th at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
Mrs. Abat died Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in Temple, Texas.
Mrs. Abat was born February 18, 1921 in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Nestor and Andrea (Cadena) Melendez. She married Benjamin Abat, August 13, 1943 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. She lived most of her life in California before returning to Texas in 2021. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003.
Survivors include one son, Benjamin Abat; two daughters, Angela Myers and Patricia Monteleone; two grandchildren, Blaine Boudreaux and Marisa Monteleone; three great-grandchildren, Britani, Cruz, and Louisa; four great-great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Tucker, Millie, and Niko.
