Juanita Elizabeth Allison (95) passed away September 30, 2025, after 5 months of declining health. Miss Allison was born in Orange County, NC August 30, 1930, to the late Elizabeth Meredith Allison and the late Roy Coleman Allison, Sr. She was a lifelong member of Little River Presbyterian Church in Hurdle Mills. Miss Allison was a retiree of Disneyland in California.
Miss Allison was preceded in death by brothers Roy Coleman Allison, Jr (Juanita); C. Ormand Allison (Stella); and Joseph Earl Allison; sister Nancy Allison Roberts (Edward); and brother-in-law William Forrest Porterfield.
Juanita Allison is survived by two sisters; Betty Lou Allison Porterfield of Cary, and Linda Allison Knight (Joel) of Hurdle Mills; and sister-in-law Betty C. Allison of Chapel Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Walker’s Funeral Home, Hillsborough with burial following at Little River Presbyterian Church cemetery in Hurdle Mills, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to Little River Cemetery Fund.
