Juanita Denton Bradshaw, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on June 2, 2025, at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, Georgia. Born on February 3, 1950, in Clayton, Georgia, Juanita was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who touched the lives of many during her 75 years.
Juanita dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving as a cook at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home, where her passion for nourishing those in her care reflected her kind and nurturing spirit. She was a devoted wife to her husband, William Bradshaw, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage filled with cherished memories.
Juanita took immense joy in her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her treasures, and she often spoke of the joy they brought to her life. She loved all of her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
Juanita's family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home and the support and care offered by Traditions Hospice services during her final days.
Juanita leaves behind her loving spouse, William Bradshaw; her daughter, Teresa (Bryan) Addis; her sons, Ricky (Becky) Bradshaw and Robert (Nicole) Bradshaw; her cherished grandchildren, B.J. (Victoria) Addis, Brittany (Daniel) Allen, Kerri (David) Gregg, and Rayelee (Joseph) McNeal; her grandson, Nathan Addis; and her great-grandchildren, Sawyer Allen, Oliver McNeal, and J.W. Gregg.
She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and will forever hold a special place in their hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents: Junior Denton and Elzie Burrell Denton.
No formal funeral services have been scheduled. Juanita will be laid to rest in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Hiawassee Georgia.
