Juanita Marie Buck

Juanita Marie (Small) Buck, 71, of Anderson, passed away on January 24, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.

Juanita was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent many years as a server at Ryan's Steakhouse in Anderson before joining Guide Lamp. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin, and she always found joy in helping others when she could.

She loved horses, hot rods, horror movies, and a good conspiracy theory discussion over a cup of coffee. Her fiery spirit and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Buck and Vickie Hedges; her sons, Willie Rigdon and Bud Rigdon; her other children, April Buck, Costello Buck, Stacey Carrico, and Tim Moore; her brother, Conrad "Lee" Small; her grandchildren, Michael D. Rigdon, Bradley Sumpter, Stephenie Vetor, Autumn Tyler, Malachi Tyler, Karma A. Forsha, Abra C. Forsha, and Jessica Starkley; and her great-grandchildren, Bjorn Sumpter, Jensen Sumpter, Forest Rigdon Starkley, Alex Rigdon, and other cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael S. Rigdon; her first husband, Hubert E. Rigdon Jr.; her last husband, Costello H. Buck; her mother, Lois A. Small; her father, Abraham Small; and other beloved family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31st, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM. Cremation will follow.
